Choose what to sync

Decide which products, collections, and fields go live, and approve Syncwright's suggestions before anything writes to Shopify.

You are in control of what Syncwright publishes. Nothing writes to Shopify until you say so.

Pick your products

Choose the scope that fits your catalog:

• Everything: sync your full Lightspeed catalog.
• By category or brand: sync only selected parts of your Lightspeed tree.
• Exclude the rest: hold back items you do not sell online.

Choose your fields

Each product field, such as title, description, price, or images, has its own rule. You decide whether Syncwright leaves a field alone, fills it only when Shopify is empty, or keeps it matched to Lightspeed. This is the field-level sync policy, and it is what lets you keep merchandising in Shopify while inventory follows Lightspeed.

Review what Syncwright suggests

As it reads your catalog, Syncwright proposes improvements and waits for your approval:

• Variant groups: separate Lightspeed items that are really one product with sizes or colors. See Variant grouping.
• Smart collections: collections built from your Lightspeed categories and brands. See Smart collections.
• Image fixes: sourced or cleaned product images. See Image enrichment.

Approvals are the heart of Syncwright. Suggestions sit in a review queue, you accept the ones you like, and only then do they write to Shopify. Nothing surprises you on your storefront.

Migrating from another sync tool

If you already have products in Shopify, Syncwright uses switcher reconciliation to link your existing catalog to Lightspeed instead of re-importing it. Items match on barcode with a manufacturer-SKU fallback, so you do not end up with duplicates. See Inventory and no overselling for how matching works.

Changing your mind

You can widen or narrow what you sync at any time. Add a category, change a field rule, or pause a product, and Syncwright adjusts on the next pass.
