Connect Shopify

Install Syncwright from your private install link and review the permissions it asks for.

Syncwright installs as a private app built for your store, from a secure link we send you. Start here, then connect Lightspeed.

  1. Request your link from the get started form. We reply within one business day, usually the same day.
  2. Open the link while logged in to your Shopify admin and select Install.
  3. Approve the permissions Shopify shows you. This is the same secure install flow every Shopify app uses.
  4. You land in Syncwright, ready to connect Lightspeed.

You install Syncwright on the Shopify store you want to keep in sync. If you run more than one store, tell us and we set up an install for each.

Permissions it requests

Syncwright asks for the Shopify access it needs to manage your catalog and read orders:

  • Products and inventory: create and update products, variants, and stock levels.
  • Collections: create and maintain smart collections built from your Lightspeed categories.
  • Orders (read): detect online sales so they can be recorded in Lightspeed.
  • Files: store approved product images.

Updates are automatic

Syncwright is hosted, so there is no version to manage. Every store runs the latest release automatically, and updates are included in the one-time price. See Pricing and buying.

Uninstalling

You can remove Syncwright from Settings then Apps in Shopify at any time. Uninstalling stops all syncing. Your Shopify products and collections remain as they were at the last sync.
