// The math

Buying beats renting by the end of year one.

Every other serious connector is a subscription, usually priced per location. Here is what that difference looks like on a calendar.

cumulative cost

Syncwright

typical subscription

Year one

$999

$1,188

Year two

$0

$2,376

Year three

$0

$3,564

Typical per-location connector at $99 a month, one location. Add a second location and the right column climbs again. Syncwright stays at $999, total.

// Why we can do this

A sync tool should not be a landlord.

Syncwright is efficient to run, and the one genuinely usage-heavy feature, image enrichment, is metered separately so heavy use pays its own way. That leaves no honest reason to bill you every month for software that is already doing its job quietly.

There is a business reason too. Syncwright comes from an agency, and we would rather earn your marketing work by being useful than collect rent on your plumbing. The app has to be good enough that you tell another shop owner about it. That is the whole model.

// Build vs buy

What building this yourself actually costs.

A one-off integration between Lightspeed R-Series and Shopify sounds like a contained project. It is not, and we say that as the people who built one. R-Series has no webhooks, so a simple nightly script quietly drifts; doing it properly means delta polling, a reconciliation pass, rate-limit budgeting, and a write queue. And then the work never ends, because Shopify retires API versions on a schedule and Lightspeed changes underneath you.

Over three years the honest gap is $999 against something like $25,000 to $55,000, and the custom build still only does what was scoped on day one. Syncwright keeps improving after you buy it, at no extra cost.

// Image enrichment

Pay only for the catalog you clean up.

The only metered thing in the product. You choose what to clean up, and the first batch is free.

First images 50 free
Sourced and cleaned image $0.35 each
Standardize an existing image $0.10 each

→ metered, opt-in, approved before it ever writes to Shopify

// After you buy

Updates keep coming. The invoice does not.

Syncwright is hosted, so your store always runs the latest version with nothing to install and nothing to schedule. When we ship multi-location inventory, returns sync, or anything else on the roadmap, it lands in your store like it was always there.

// Billing FAQ

The fine print, in plain words.

More in the help center.

Is it really one payment? +

Yes. $999 covers your store for good: the sync engine, every feature, every register and location, every future update, and email support. There is no renewal, no maintenance fee, and no plan to upgrade to.

How do I pay? +

By invoice. When we send your private install link we include a single invoice you can pay by card. You install and connect on your schedule; nothing is charged until you have said yes to the invoice.

Do I pay more for extra locations, registers, or items? +

No. The price is the same for a single register and a five-store operation, and it does not change with catalog size. Adding a location never creates a new line item.

What counts toward image enrichment? +

Your first 50 images are free. After that, sourcing and cleaning a new image is $0.35 each, and standardizing an image you already have is $0.10 each. You only pay for the images you choose to run, and nothing publishes without your approval.

What if it does not fit my store? +

We check the fit before you pay. Every purchase starts with a look at your Lightspeed account and catalog, and if Syncwright is not right for your setup we say so instead of sending an invoice.

Is Syncwright really free for Outside Projects clients? +

Yes. If Outside Projects runs your ads, email, or SEO, Syncwright is included with your engagement at no charge for as long as we work together.
