Smart collections

Turn your Lightspeed categories and brands into Shopify smart collections you approve, with an optional hide-out-of-stock rule.

Syncwright reads the category and brand structure you already maintain in Lightspeed and proposes matching Shopify smart collections, so your storefront organizes itself.

How it works

  1. Syncwright reads your Lightspeed category and brand tree.
  2. It proposes Shopify smart collections that mirror that structure.
  3. You approve the collections you want. The rest are ignored.
  4. Approved collections populate automatically as products sync.

Because they are smart collections, membership is rule-based. A product that matches the rule joins automatically, with no manual tagging.

Your Lightspeed categories are work you have already done. Syncwright puts that structure to work on your storefront instead of asking you to rebuild it by hand.

Hide out-of-stock products

Each collection can carry an optional hide-out-of-stock rule. Turn it on and sold-out products drop out of that collection until they are back in stock, so shoppers browse what they can actually buy.

Keeping collections tidy

  • Approve only the collections that make sense for your storefront.
  • Rename an approved collection in Shopify without breaking the sync.
  • Skip a proposed collection and Syncwright leaves it alone.

What Syncwright does not touch

Syncwright builds the collections you approve. It does not reorganize collections you created yourself, and it does not delete collections without your say-so.
